Admission

The college has various departments in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Education and Law. A professional computer course is also run by the college-

1. Student seeking admission to this college will have to apply on a prescribed form available from the college office on payment on all working days between 9am. - 1.30pm. Admission to graduate (B.Sc., B.com. & B.A. Part I) and Post Graduate classes (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com) will be through a pre-admission test. Seats in both undergraduate as well as P. G. Classes are limited. The admission form must be accompanied by a Character Certificate from the head of the institution list attended together with T.C. or Migration Certificate.

2. An admission committee appointed by the Controller of Admission shall scrutinise all the successful candidates in the pre-admission test and lay down the norms on the basis of which selected applicants shall be interviewed if necessary by the said committee.

3. The list of he selected candidates shall be put on the college notice board and it will be the responsibility of the individual candidate to find out whether he/she has been selected for admission or not. The last date for the completion of the admission shall also be notified along with the list of selected candidates. 

4. In case the selected candidate fails to take his/ her admission within the specified time, her/she will have to forego his/her claim to admission.

5. There shall, under no circumstances, be any relaxation in the eligibility criteria. A candidate shall not be entitled to claim admission as a matter of right even if he/she is otherwise eligible. The college reserves the right to refuse admission to any individual without assigning any reasons, as also the right not to disclose the marks secured by a candidate in any admission test/interview/aptitude assessments etc. 

6. A student's bonafides/tenure shall expire on the date the results of the examination of the degree to which. He/she is enrolled, are declared on or 30th June, whichever is earlier. 

7. The college reserves the right not to admit any candidate to a course of study even through notification. Inviting applications for admission to the same has been issued. 

8. (a) Candidates are required to produce the original mark sheet/certificate including the statement of marks of the qualifying examination with the requisite to marks at the time of interview/reporting for admission, failing which they shall not be interviewed/allowed to complete admission and the offer of the admission shall and cancelled automatically and no further correspondence the matter shall be interfered.

(b) If it is found, at any stage, that a candidate: 
(i) Does not fulfill the eligibility requirement. 
(ii) Has used fraudulent means to secure admission. . 
(iii) Has made false or incorrect statement (s) 
He/she shall not be allowed to appear for the interview, complete the admission formalities, or if in case already admitted, his/her admission shall be cancelled. 

9. All admission shall be provisional.

10. The admission will be given only for one academic session. Students seeking admission to II or 
III academic year of their respective courses of study will have to fill in fresh forms. Their application for admission shall be treated a fresh every year. 
Student, if any, admitted as a special case without T.C/Migration Certificate, shall have to produce within 30 days, a migration certification or T.C. from the college last attended, failing which his/her name shall be struck off the rolls after thirty days.

11. Any student, whose conduct and behavior is found unsatisfactory, may be removed from the college rolls in accordance with the provisions of the University Ordinance/Government Orders.

12. Transfer from one college to another should not be allowed. However, Son/daughters of Govt. employees and employees of other public undertaking will be admitted on transfer of their parents with the prior permission of the Vice Chancellor. Inter University transfers of candidate whose parents have been transferred will also be permitted by the university provided the candidates are eligible otherwise.

13. A candidate who has already earned anyone of the Post graduate Degree as a regular student from this college shall Not be given regular admission for other Post graduate Degree course, provided facilities to appear as a private candidate for that post graduate degree exists. 

14. Any candidate who had passed previous class as a private candidate will not be admitted in second year as a regular candidate.
